By all rights, shouldn’t your caption read: …Iran’s reprehensible “justice” system?
After all, there’s so very little of anything having to do with “justice” in the base and degraded state that is Iran…
Yes, I certainly didn’t mean to imply that it was just to hang people for blasphemy, homosexuality, prostitution, or adultery, all of which happen fairly often in Iran. (It’s also frequently an open question whether the individuals involved even performed the act in question.)
I just have been trying to crack down on the scare quotes lately, I guess. Next target: Parentheses.
