Hear Jason, Jon, and Me ‘On Air’ Sunday

It’s a Positive Liberty salute! For those that do not know, I have a Sunday afternoon radio show. “The Downsize DC Conference Call” is only an hour long, starting at 4:06 PM Eastern (3:06 PM Central, 2:06 PM Mountain, and 1:06 PM Pacific).
Jason Kuznicki and Jon Rowe are my guests this Sunday. You’ve read their brilliance, now you’ll get to hear it!
The show is on a couple of stations, but the best way to catch it, really is online at GCNLive.com.
If you want to call with a question, the number is 1-800-259-9231. The email address will be given out at the start of the show.

[...] Over at Positive Liberty remind us that they have a radio show on Sundays (that’s tomorrow, people). The blog is elegantly written, thought provoking and almost always shows substantive immersion. Sometimes beyond the Jack Balkin gang. We know. Substance in the blogosphere? Get out. (They probably would *NOT* put on something silly like ‘Spilled Bong Water’ – so your Sunday should be safe). Herewith the details: “It’s a Positive Liberty salute! I’m in. I assume it doesn’t matter whether we stream Network 1 or 2 or 3 or so on?
I’m looking forward to it. I know what Jon sounds like thanks to his Vlog post from a while back. I curious to hear Jason’s voice, and yours as well, Jim.
Excellent job, Jason and Jon.
Jim, you have an interesting show and I would be intrigued to check you out again in the future. Are you on every Sunday at this hour?
As long as the Pats aren’t playing at that time, I’d be curious to hear more. :)
Glad you listened. I should do this more often, to try to get better at it. It’s certainly a different experience than blogging. It’s more nerve wracking and you don’t always have the right answer on the tip of your tongue. And certainly the syntax used in your answers often does will not satisfy you.
Jon, I can understand where you’re coming from, but for what it’s worth, I thought you were very quick in your responses. Even when that one caller called at the end to try and push those pro Christian nation sources, you were able to jump right on the ball and respond with less than a minute left for the show.
Of course, I agree that you should do this more often. Jason as well. If for no other reason, it’s a big treat for your readers.
Thanks. I’m satisfied with all of my answers except for one — I could have named more prominent scholars who support the “middle ground” nuanced position, as opposed to the secular left or religious right. When you are put on the spot in live circumstances, you can get “brain farts”; when you blog or write, you can entirely eliminate that.
Chris – Yes, the show airs every Sunday at this time. Next week’s show will, however, be a repeat, due to the holiday.
And as for your Pats, I understand. I have a hard time breaking away from my Browns, who were busy winning in the most unlikely of ways while we were on air today.
