In Re Ezra Levant

With a hat tip to Reason’s notoriously “standoffish and crass” Matt Welch, I invite, no, implore anyone not already familiar with his story to visit Ezra Levant’s blog.
Levant was editor of Canada’s Western Standard magazine which ran the infamous Danish Muhammad cartoons. This, in turn, led to the filing of a complaint by one Syed Soharwardy to the Alberta Human Rights and Citizenship Commission.
I know next to nothing about Levant, the Western Standard, or Canadian law. Most of what I do know is pretty much what you just read. Understand, therefore, that my personal opinion in this matter is limited to the following assertion: Levant’s responses to the bureaucrat seated across the table from him during the taped hearing is precisely how free people of any nation should always deal with government officials under such circumstances!
Kudos, Mr. Levant!

Wow, his YouTube videos are just amazing. The best libertarian TV I’ve seen in months!
