Would be nice if he were a robot, too.

Dilemma: If I like Tim Burton but hate Stephen Sondheim, what do I do with the film version of Sweeney Todd?

    (Disclaimer: Haven’t seen the movie):

I’m not usually a fan of Tim Burton. As a director, he just has a tendency to make everything dark and creepy when he should be exercising restraint. (Example: Batman Returns sucks because Catwoman and the Penguin were made circus-freakish instead of film-noirish.)

Sometimes though, despite his total lack of understanding of the material he works with, he stumbles upon success by blind chance. (I thought Sleepy hollow was a decent monster flick). Sweeny Todd seems like the sort of thing that he might not suck too badly at.

And hey, Sacha Baron Cohen! Can’t go wrong there.
